Carlos Santana became famous in the late 60's with his band Santana which pioneered a fusion of rock and Latin American Music. He learned to play the guitar at age eight. He was influenced to learn guitar by a band called B.B. King. Woodstock was by far the moment in where Santana was truly recognized and gained an international audience.
